About the Course
Whether you have recently graduated, have been qualified a while and need a kickstart in your business or are looking to make the leap over to full time practice then this CPD is for you.
This CPD will cover everything that you need to know about building and growing a successful hypnotherapy practice. You will leave with a clear vision of how you want your practice to run, your target audience, marketing strategies and the necessary steps needed to take in order to achieve this.
You will better understand how to market yourself as a therapist and build a referral network. You will gain confidence in setting up and/or running your practice and leave feeling ready to conquer the world of self employment!
Course content:
- Creating your ideal therapy practice.
- Brand messaging and niche.
- Marketing strategies.
- What else to consider when building/growing a practice.
- Life as a business owner- what to expect along the way and the qualities needed to succeed.
- Mindset blocks in business and how to overcome them.
Objectives:
- To gain confidence in setting up/running your own practice.
- Support to make the leap over to full time hypnotherapy.
- To become ‘unstuck’ in your practice and grow and evolve.
- To create a clearer vision of your own practice, ideal client and target audience.
- Increased awareness of different marketing strategies and aspects of running a practice and business.

About the Presenter
Katie Churms
Songbird Hypnotherapy
Katie graduated from CPHT in 2020. During the pandemic, with no previous experience in marketing or running a business, she set up and grew her successful practice ‘Songbird Hypnotherapy’ in Bedfordshire and online. She now sees an average of 20 clients a week, specialising in anxiety, stress and overwhelm.
Katie has ten years’ experience of working in teaching and education and holds a BA(hons) in education. Previously working as a primary teacher and tutor, she made the leap to solution focused hypnotherapy after experiencing the magic for herself! She left teaching to train with CPHT, set up her practice in 2020 and has never looked back.
Katie is a senior lecturer for CPHT Chester, and a qualified supervisor. Whilst running her busy practice she also offers mentoring and coaching for other hypnotherapists. She is passionate about supporting other hypnotherapists to grow and thrive.
